Which audience to target?

Does anyone have a figure, which can help me in finding out, where would I get the largest audience for one of my client's clothing products store? US and UK were a clear cut winner, but what about others? Other than them, where do you see a lot of purchases being done online? Reply with figures would be the best .

First of all, what category of your clothing fit in?
Where are the manufactured and what is the demographic of your target audience?
If you do not understand the culture difference in that location it is better to stay away from there and get back to local which you understand best.
