What daily traffic is needed in order to make at least $10 every day?

The primary method of my websites in generating revenue is Adsense ads. However, I'm finding it hard to currently generate $10 a day. My revenue even dips to one dollar a day on bad days!

I haven't been marketing my site as much these past few weeks due to my busy work load. Without any marketing, my one site generates an average of 300 views per day. Okay okay, that's a very small amount of traffic. I know.

Anyway, I want to know how much traffic is needed by one site in one day to be able to generate at least $10 daily. I need to know this so that I'll know what package to pick if I'm going to opt for paid advertising. And also, in order for me to set a target daily traffic. If I am able to have this amount of revenue per day, I might even be able to quit my day job! A little bit of help here please.

If your traffic is targeted you could make more money promoting a product that solves a problem they have. A lot more money. Have you considered that? It would be easier to target prospects when buying ads also.
