The legal profession may be described as a lucrative industry. But taking the law practice online will definitely give it a more dynamic approach to these reserved profession. Hence, is there a legitimate online job specifically designed for lawyers or legal researchers?

Doing transcription might be good to lawyers however, this is too degrading if they will consider it as a main job. If ever lawyers just want a side line income, maybe they can do the transcription of the conversation during the visits of the clients.

I guess being a freelancer? since lawyers are good in speaking or making written advocates, there are sites that gives freelancers a choice whether what the person can do and what he has finished with regards to the career. Writing for someone for example, about thesis such as that or aiding other online users for their projects that requires a lawyer are even offered in some sites.

Maybe translating legal documents from one language to another, of course you will have to know more than one language.

There are many. I've seen many post on freelancing platforms who are looking for legal writers. As what I understood, there are web sites or online law firms who are offering legal advice and other services that hires lawyers to address their clients/visitors' legal concerns.

Furthermore, the transcriptionist field is always open for them be the audio files to be transcribed is legal in nature or not as lawyers are normally have an excellent grasp of English grammar and vocabulary. The legal subject I believed has a higher rate.

Lastly, they could also offer translation services especially in legal subjects.

With these vast opportunities and proper time management, they could earn much more in freelancing and might realize that online career is more lucrative than the tense and taxing career offered by physical law firms.

Freelancing platforms like Upwork, Onlinejobs.ph and Freelancer has a regular postings looking for writers. You have to register to these platforms first to be able to have an access and see the job postings that would suit your skills. Compared to the usual writing gigs posting like web content articles, blogs and academic writings; posting looking for law practitioners are not that frequent. But the good thing about it is that, you have a big chance to nail any legal job available because there are less if not zero competitor in this field, for after all, only few lawyers would I think considers the freelancing option seriously. :)

Scribie and Transcribeme are platforms for transcriptions. Once you passed their test, you're good to go. You can transcribe audio files as many as you can and most importantly, you can earn money as much as you can.
