How to improve keywords rank?

In the last 6 month, we are doing proper SEO for a company. After increasing the link building process the keyword's rank is not improving. Though we are doing proper link building maintaining the all guidelines then also it's not working. So, need some suggestion how we can improve it.

For Link Building we are doing common things like Guest Posting, Directory Listing, Forum Posting, Blog commenting, Q&A Posting, bookmarking and all. Let me know if is there any other way. Thank You

All these processes that you followed are OK for link building but those links are must be trustful by Google and have a good value in search engine ranking.
One thing you can also do that create more and more unique content with your keyword correctly that you want to get ranked.

You must also do Link Wheel process in order to increase the back links to your website. Are you using infogrphics? If not then you should also use that and also increase the process of social bookmarking

You must also do Press Release,Competitor Back link,Resource Pages,Scholarship Link Building,in order to increase the back links to your website. Are you using infographics? If not then you should also use that and also increase the process of social bookmarking

What are the link building strategies you are following? How may links do you build per day and those links are valid? Whether you have optimized the keyword properly on your meta titles?

Building backlink is anyways not going to help to improve keyword ranking. Firstly, you need to have a SEO friendly website and strong On Page Optimization. Upload content for users and not for bots.

Once you are done with all this parameter, then focus on creating backlink. But remember, don't have quantity of backlinks. Rather focus on quality backlinks.

if many trails done through link building that is Off page SEO then you need to check On page properly Like robots.txt, site speed Sitemaps etc.you need to fulfill all On-page requirement then start off page with unique meta content.

Don't focus too much on your targeted keyword, do random link building for your targeted keywords, but at the same time keep doing seo, creating content on your website..

Mainly, do SEO for whole website instead of focusing on just one keyword/page.
