Is it legal to repost a Youtube video on Youtube?

For example, I want to repost a video from a channel on Youtube. Can I do this or is it against Youtubes rules?

Depends on what the video creator (copyright holder) wants or allows. When in doubt, always ask the person or company that owns the material in question.

You can but like others said it really depends on what type of video you are about to post whether it is copyrighted or no. If it is cpyrighted then you can contact the owner of that video and ask him to persmission to resubmit
