Difference between dofollow and no follow link

Do follow link permits google to reach your website and follow your website. Do follow link increases the rank of the page as well On the other hand no follow link doesn't help your website to gain credibility in the eyes of search engine. They actually don't pass the page rank and have no effects on search engine.

There are two types of links : Nofollow and Dofollow. Google suggests, we should have the ratio of dofollow and nofollow links or the website.
Dofollow links are the links in which we gives the instructions to crawlers to crawl the link and passes the link juice.
Nofollow links are the links in which we gives the instruction to crawlers to not crawl the link and it doesn't pass the link juice. However, you get the traffic from that link but it will not help to get the ranking in search engine.

A do follow link is a normal link that is placed like <a href="URL">title</a>
A no follow link has the following tag added to the code like <a href="URL" rel="nofollow">title</a>

The no follow tag tells the search engine when it crawls the page to not count the link, don't pass any authority to that site, and to not crawl it at all.

You can tell if a link is nofollowed by right clicking on it, and selecting Inspect, then viewing the code to see if the nofollow tag is in place.
