Can I have multi Google webmaster tool and analytics accounts on a website?

I want to create at least 2 Google webmaster tool and analytic accounts for 2 different parts on my website?
for examples
example.com/subfolder/ will have a different webmaster tool and analytics account
example.com I will have a different account for this domain, excluding subfolder above

Is that possible?

Have you tried creating a second google account and then create a second analytics account using the new google account? I'm sure this would not be a problem.

BUT... I have a feeling if you try to add the same domain to a second account you are going to get an error.

Just give it a try and see if you can or can't. It will be a lot faster than waiting for an answer from someone else.
