Can WooCommerce be used as B2B platform!

Hello,
Lately, I've been doing a little research on the feasibility of using WooCommerce as a B2B platform! We all know that WooCommerce wasn't developed for catering B2B requirements but here is my question? Since WooCommerce is customizable so can we add custom functionalities of B2B? and what about the scalability can it handle bulk orders?

I don't see any reason it can't be used for b2b. What differences are you talking about that are different from b2c? A sale is pretty much a sale.
