As I was searching around the internet for readings about Search engine optimization, I encountered the term Link Building. This term sounds new to me, as Search engine optimization is. But somehow I feel that it can affect the effectiveness of internet marketing.

I'm gonna need your knowledge on this.

Can anybody explain what Link Building is?
Can it help the efficiency of internet marketing online?
