How to exclude duplicate content from being indexed by Google?

Not a lot you can do as not your site. Even the original content can be penalised considered duplicate content the most popular site will win regardless who authored it. Basically you could copy any site and do it if you had no ethics.

You can block these URLs from getting indexed by Google through robots.txt file. Or you can insert the below meta code into the meta tags on your webpage which you want not to be indexed by Google:

There are two options to prevent it. First, you can use same canonical url on both pages. Second, use the noindex tag, so that crawlers don't index page page.
