What is Broad keyword

This is more of a PPC topic, not an SEO topic.
It essentially means allow Google, or Bing, to show my ad for people search for this keyword, plus variations of the keyword and search phrases they believe to be "closely" related.

In PPC, a broad keyword is when you target a keyword like:

keyword

Whereas an exact match keyword would be targeted like

[keyword]

Broad Match Modified keywords would be like
+keyword +keyword +keyword

Which means the search queries your ad shows up for must include all 3.

The broad keyword is the default match type and the one that reaches the widest audience. When using broad keyword match, your ad is eligible to appear whenever a user’s search query includes any word in your key phrase, in any order.

If you're planning on using broad match in a PPC campaign do your homework first. You need a large list of negative keywords before you start.

Every paid search platform has different keyword match types, each of which will determine how that platform decides which ads will show for which searches.

Broad match is the default option for Bing and Google and it utilizes complex algorithms to read between the lines and show your ad to everyone that they seem relevant.

People confuse searches with search results. If a site has 1,000,0000 google results that is how many sites you need to beat.
Nothing really to consider as only exact match is something to work with. Go to estibot type in your domain it will tell you how many times a month it is searched for exact and broad searches.
The type in is not even counted as goes direct. http://
Exact search result eg webmaster sun or webmastersun.
broad search result webmaster had sun glasses.
I buy sell domains and i have people trying to sell me on search results not real searches nobody cares how many others use same keywords this is the reason they buy exact match domains so only interested how many times it is searched for when buying a generic name.

Hey, Broad match keywords mean big match keywords. When someone searches on a search engine, the results will not show for specific variants. If you want to get more revenue from your SEO or PPC ads campaign, then I highly recommend you to avoid it.
