In your point of view, What do we need to know to become a Professional Webmaster?

You should learn computer languages if you want to become a good webmaster.

I think the main thing people miss when looking at webmaster work is to treat it like a REAL job because it is. Those who give up discouraged are the ones who thought it would be an easy way to make money, when it isn't.

You need to know a LOT of things to be a good webmaster...coding, design, social media, advertising, customer service, cpanel, marketing psychology, etc. It's a sometimes overwhelming learning curve that most people just never fully grasp.

I agree. Anybody who manages a CMS website can call himself a webmaster but it takes a lot of effort and time learning a lot of things to be a real professional webmaster.

Webmaster is not certainly a single job you have to mange developers, writers, seo guys and many other people it is not as easy..
