What language should I start with for web development?

Hello,

Usually for developing programs they start you off from Visible Basic. What about for web development? Where should I start and what 'languages' after that should I go to?

You are at learning stage in web development/programming world.

As per your stage you should learn first c and c++ because these both language will teach you all the aspect and logical funda.

Then you should go for Open Source it's based on PHP/My SQL and you can choose any WordPress Development, Joomla Development, Drupal, Magento Development.
