Empty pages or pages with no content impact negatively on the SEO of your overall site. When the search engine crawls empty pages and finds no useful content, they mark them as soft-404 errors, negatively affecting your website.

Therefore, it's better if you don't create any such pages. Still, sometimes you need to have them, for example, a search result page or a category page like <marketing/affiliate-marketing> where you don't have any content for the "marketing" page.

In this case, you should mark them as noindex and nofollow. And these pages should have no internal links.

To get the top ranking in the SERP, you must have quality content on your page.

Yes, empty pages or pages with no content can affect SEO. If a page is empty, there is nothing for Google to index and rank. Additionally, if all of the content on a page is low-quality or duplicated from another source, Google may not rank that page as highly as other pages with more original and relevant content. Finally, if a website has too many blank pages or “thin” pages with little content, this could be an indication to Google that the website is not high quality and not worth ranking highly in search results.

Yes, pages with no content (or very little content) can negatively affect SEO. This is because search engines view these pages as being low-quality and not valuable to users. As a result, they may rank these pages lower in search results than pages that have more substantive content.

This is why it's important to include rich, informative content on your website - not only to provide value to your users, but also to help improve your site's SEO ranking.
