Why is iGaming niche so appealing?

The iGaming niche is an incredibly profitable for affiliates. Its popularity is skyrocketing every year. It has recently reached a net worth of $52 billion, so even a slice of the pie from the market could give a person a real fortune. That’s one of the biggest reasons why affiliate marketers are getting to pay more attention to it.

Affiliate marketing for iGaming niche is quite a new industry and having a creative ‘outside of the box’ mindset can help you stand out among all others.

We believe that iGaming affiliate marketing right now is the most high-income among the others. Let’s break the reasons down one by one.

It Is a Win-Win Situation for Everyone

The niche is probably the most dependent on working side-by-side long-term to be in a win-win situation. Affiliates need to know that a casino still wins. The best way to do so is to fill in a casino with new players, quality players.

Casinos on their part provide new players with bonus offers and promos as it helps to get new players started and get them more engaged. Deep retention system will help to get back those who are still hesitating.

Affiliate marketing helps casinos develop more trusting relationships with their players. In return, they might invite a couple of friend to help a casino gain more profit.

Such two-parties approach help succeed everyone.

Partnership where affiliates get constant payments from casinos and casinos expand their client base may easily take them to leadership positions in the iGaming market. So, it is a win-win situation!

Variety of Traffic Sources

As an affiliate you have an access to almost infinite amount of traffic sources. Social media, SEO, pop-ups, paid media, content-marketing and many more. Any of them is doing great for iGaming. Try different approaches and traffic sources rather then rely heavily only on one source.

Right now Facebook and Google are one of the most popular traffic sources for iGaming, yet due to some restrictions in advertising policies you should choose promo materials wisely to avoid suspensions. If you can balance between converting and neutral ads you can easily transform all your ad campaigns into real money.

It Is a Lifetime Value

Affiliate marketers are expected to deliver quality traffic. Casinos are expected players who spend money and stay engaged.

If you’re looking for fixed payouts for conversions you’d probably work with simple CPA payment model.

But what might be a better way to monetize quality traffic? RevShare. Revenue Sharing (or RevShare) is a revenue model in which casinos share a percentage of their revenue with affiliates. It is considered as one of the most beneficial for affiliates.

One more specification about iGaming RevShare model. Casinos share their net profit or NGR which is a financial indicator that determines the net gaming income minus other costs and taxes.

Remember that online casinos are not always in the black and may have a negative balance carryover. In this case you will not get paid within a pay period.

Overall, what you get with RevShare:

- The best payout model for long-term passive income
- Revenue Share may offer better commissions

Experienced affiliate marketers will have different profit expectations than newbies. To keep their business running, affiliates need quick returns and a lot of cash flow. Therefore, going 100% RevShare is impractical and unattractive to them. We strongly recommend diversify your payouts to be strong on long-term income and have a stable cash flow.

All it takes is a little patience and high-quality traffic. By the way, at Royal Partners we also have awesome CPA and RevShare in-house offers. Check them out!

Hello everyone!

Today we’re going to explain to you how Royal Partners monitor and evaluate the quality of traffic which is driven by our partners. Sometimes an evaluation can be a burning issue so let’s break it down once and for all.

There are many factors that are taken into consideration by our analysts:

Percentage of installations to registrations and registrations to deposits funnel conversions. If a conversion rate is low then a partner is reaching inaccurate target audience. Maybe ad creatives are poor, maybe CTAs are not so strong, maybe something else is not as catchy as it should be.

First deposits amount. Amount of new players who actually spend should be relevant to a traffic volume.

Average check for newly attracted players. It is counted by dividing the whole sum of deposits made by the total number of players attracted.

Number of first and repeated deposits. The total number of deposits made by attracted players is taken into account. Players who don’t top up regularly aren’t considered as a quality traffic.

NGR Score for a traffic flow. Net casino income including all commissions and fees. This is the primary indicator of a casino’s net income.

Average LTV. Lifetime Value is a profit which is generated by a player during a significant period of time. No one wants a player who makes only a single deposit for a couple of bucks in a long period of time? Great to have an affiliate network with deep CRM and Retention systems to raise LTVs. We’re a super proud of our own and we’ll tell details about how we handle it later in the thread.

Percentage of active players in a traffic flow. One-time players don’t generate profit. That’s why regular players’ percentage is vital and should be as high as possible.

Overall, at Royal Partners any traffic flow is undergoing a thorough evaluation to find out if we’re a good fit and traffic quality is good, acceptable or bad to decide if terms and conditions should be changed.

Currently, there are plenty of ways to drive high-quality traffic flow in the iGaming niche that an advertiser will be interested in. The more high-quality traffic you drive, the more higher caps and payouts you should expect. Always stay in touch with your manager, monitor and analyse updates, communicate on how you can increase quality of a traffic flow and scale ad campaigns. Open and honest communication with a manager is crucial for both parties to succeed.

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all safe and sound after the winter holidays and all ready for exciting content!

We've planned lots of activities for you this year and we're so thrilled to share some information with you!

At the beginning of 2023 we've decided to take some time to discuss the most common questions for webmasters, especially the new ones, in the iGaming industry. The topics are based on what our partners have been asking and have been most curious about. We've already discussed in the thread that iGaming industry is quite different from the traditional CPA industries. There are some things that don't lie on the surface but which are a must to know about.

We'd cover topics like wagers, postbacks, GEOs' tiers, WebWiew apps and many more. These are the most popular among our partners and that's why we feel like it might be useful for those who are just expolring the industry. Yet, even the experienced webmasters might find something interesting and new. In the end, it's always great to revise the material.

Besides we're also planning many activities and events for the forum's members. There would be benefits both for the new and the current partners. Don't miss them out! You won't leave empty-handed.

The first topic we're going to cover is the Hybrid payment model. We'll compare it with the CPA and RevShare models which have already been covered in the thread.

Hope you'll enjoy it and please let us know if there is a particlar topic or some other things you'd like us to cover.

Anyway, you can become our partner today and ask all the questions yourself to a personal affiliate-manager.

Hello eveyone,

Hope you're ready for the very first topic about affiliate marketing in the iGaming industry that we're going to cover.

We'd like to start with explaining what is a Hybrid commission model since we've already spent some time on both CPA and RevShare models but a Hybrid one has been given far less attention. And we'd like to make them even. Let's begin.

Hybrid is a commision model which combines the elements of both CPA (the completion of a targeted action) and RevShare (the percentage of the advertiser's income from the driven leads). Hybrid is mainly used in the iGaming industry. With both Betting and Gambling offers.

What's like to work with a Hybrid model?

Working with a simple CPA model meaning you can potentially miss out on profits if your leads are great and they stay engaged and keep spending money. RevShare, on the other hand, may pay off slowly as the leads might not be good or the product is not as good and doesn't have enough to make players spend their time and money. That's where a Hybrid model comes in handy. It helps to minimize some of the risks.

With a Hybrid model a webmaster is protected from both losing profit long-term and a slow pay off in the moment. However, rates would be significantly lower than in CPA or RevShare. That's why Hybrid is a very profitable model for advertisers.

Affiliate programs usually claim that Hybrid model is available for an offer but in fact the model might not be available for you at the moment. There are some limitations and requirements for those who'd like to work with Hybrid model. They vary greatly between affiliate programs.

In Royal Partners we have Hybrid model available as well. If you're already a partner you can ask your personal manager to check if you're eligible for it. If you're not our partner yet you can sign up and become one.

It's crucial not to forget that Hybrid model does not fully balances the shortcomings of both CPA and RevShare models. If you value instant profit and high turnover the most, CPA is your choice. If the long-term profit is your priority, choose RevShare.

Why is it important?

While working with iGaming offers you can come across various commission models. Knowing its features, details, similarities, differences, pros and cons gives you the opportunity to be more flexible while choosing an offer and negotiating with an affilaite-manager. By understanding the basics you'll be able to avoid some mistakes and arrange your work more efficiently.

Hope we provide some explanation on the commission models. While rates and terms vary the basics are always the same.

Please let us know if there is a particular topic you'd like us to cover.

Hello everyone,

We continue our so-called educational posts series. Today we're going to discuss statistics and the most popular metrics. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Statistics is the key to understand whether your ad campaigns are doing well and making profit. The sole amount of profit you're making is never enough as it shows only the part of the big picture. While the details and secrets that made it possible are hidden. That's why every webmaster must be familiar with the key metrics in the industry. The understanding of the metrics would help you to not only negotiate with your affiliate-managers but to discuss some topics within the affilaite community.

Let's break down the most common metrics in general and the iGaming industry related in particular.

We'll start from the very basic and will move forward to more complex. Keep in mind that the metrics can be expressed both as a percentage and as a numerical value.

CTR (Click-through Rate) indicates the frequency of clicks on an ad. It reflects the attractivenes of a particular ad to the targeted audience. Based on the numbers you can draw conclusion about the effectivenes of your ads and adjust them accordingly.

CTR = (total clicks / total impressions) × 100

CR (Conversion Rate) shows the ratio of the number of users who completed the targeted action to total clicks on the page. It reflects the effectiveness of the lower part of your marketing/sales funnel. Based on CR you can draw conclusions about the attractiveness of the landing page and its relevance.

CR = (total leads / total clicks) × 100

ROI (Return On Investment) indicates the ration of the profit received to the amount of the investments spent. The metric shows how well have you invested your money. F.e. if ROI less than 0 you're operating at a loss. If ROI is 0% you're just returning your investments without making profits. If ROI is 100% you're doubling your investments. In theory, there is no ceiling for ROI as some ad campaigns might reach up to 1000% or even more. Yet, it is so hard to achieve, even for a skillful and experienced webmasters. We'd suggest to focus on stable returns long-term rather than trying to go for the highest ceiling.

ROI = (total return on investement - volume of investments) / volume of investments × 100

CPC (Cost Per Click) indicates the cost of a click on an ad. Webmasters usually use the metric to measure the effectiveness of the top of the marketing/sales funnel. It is also used in some advertising networks which work with PPC (Pay-per-Click) model. It is not an indicator, it's a commission model. Don't be confused with them.

CPC = total amount of investments / total clicks

CPA (Cost per Action) indicates the cost of a targeted action (usually it meaning a new lead). The metric allows you to determine the cost of a new lead and evaluate the quality of the flow. CPA has another meaning just as CPC. There is a commission model named CPA which pays for every targeted action made (we've already covered all the commission models above in the thread).

CPA = total amount of investments/ total targeted actions

We've probably done with the most common and the most basic metrics. Let's switch to the specific metrics for the iGaming industry. They're used when the targeted action is FTD (First Time Deposit) with a CPA commission model.

Click2Reg (Click to Registration) indicates newly registered users. It reflects the compliance of the traffic's expectations from ad campaigns with the attractiveness of the promoted product or service.

Click2Reg = total number of new users / total clicks × 100

Reg2Dep (Registration to Deposit) indicates new users who have made a deposit. It helps you evaluate the quality of the leads.

Reg2Dep = total number of users who made a deposit / total number of new users × 100

Inst2Reg (Installation to Deposit) indicates the registrations after downloading of an app.

Inst2Reg = total number of new users / total number of those who downloaded an app × 100

The latter three are usually taken into consideration while your traffic is evaluated (we also have the post on traffic's evaluation).

Is is really so important?

Yes, it is. It is more than just important, it is essential. There are so many variables while driving traffic which can frighten a new webmaster. You have to learn how to master them and analyze them correctly so you can draw conclusions about the effectiveness of your performance based not on intuition but on facts.

There are way more metrics and indicators than we've mentioned in the post but there are so many that you'd probably would have never use or even heard of. That's why we put the focus on the basics and the iGaming related metrics.

A piece of advice from Royal Partners. Don't get too attached to the numbers and the statistics, don't get drown in it. Keep focused on driving high quality traffic and let the metrics remain as a tool that helps you analyse the performance.

Besides, all our partners have the tools to see the statistics as transparent as possible within their accounts. We value transparency and mutual profit. If these two are your values you can become our partner and get access to our In-House offers with transparent statistics and a personal affiliate-manager.

Hello everyone,

Today we'd like to talk about wagers and why they matter. Wagers aren't the most common thing but still they're used quite often so we feel like they're worth mentioning.

A wager is a certain condition that should be completed for a casino or a sportsbook to allow a player to withdraw funds received as a bonus. Usually wagers apply to the number of spins or bets, the amount of money that should be bet but there are some other types as well.

A player can decline a bonus or a promotion but it should be done before the first bet. Funds deposited with a bonus usually cannot be withdrawn until the conditions are fulfilled. There might be some exceptions but they are rare and a 'tax' can be applied to the funds to avoid giving money for free. When a player has a wager, money deposited is spent first, only then a wager will be spent.

Conditions to wagers usually are restrictions on some activities:
  • on the amount of money to be deposited (minimum or maximum);

  • on the choice of slots available;

  • on the limited time duration;

  • on the amount of bet (minimum or maximum).

Why wagers are important for webmasters?

Wagers can be used as one of KPIs in order to a conversion be counted.

Sometimes a driven player should actually complete some action (make a number of bets or spins f.e.) in order to be qualified by an affiliate program. That's why a lot of webmasters are putting a lot of emphasize on bonuses and making a deposit in ad creatives in order to a coversion be counted to reach KPIs.

Usually a wager is used to avoid motivated traffic, bots and bonus hunters.

Wagers can be used by webmasters as a way to fill in the content of a landing page, blog, Telegram channel etc. Future players are motivated by deposit bonuses or exclusive wagers.

Some types of wagers and promotions:
  • First deposit bonus;

  • Subsequent deposit bonus;

  • Free spins;

  • Cashback;

  • Reload-bonus;

  • VIP offers.

Why is it so important?

The advertiser doesn't want to pay for players of a low-quality
, those who aren't engaged and aren't willing to make deposits. That's why wagers are thoroughly discussed and they, in fact, act as a certain guarantee of not overpaying for low-quality leads. Wagers are used to motivate leads as well.

Once a webmaster decided to work with an iGaming offer, a lot of attention should be paid to study all the terms and conditions for an offer. Wagers aren't as simple as KPIs because they are to be done by driven leads.

Never promise your audience more than your advertiser actually allowed you to because at the next evaluation your traffic and your leads may be considered as motivated or misleading. You'll be stripped of payment and may even be called a fraud. Respectively, such partnership won't last long.

Hope you'll this piece of information about wagers useful and helpful. At Royal Partners we do have exclusive bonuses and promotions for our trusted partners. You can sign up today and become one of them!

Hello guys,

Hope you're all doing well and ready for the next topic. This time we're going to discuss GEOs' tiers. Why do they matter? How do they differ? Which is the right for you?

GEO is one of the very first things that come to mind when discussing terms of partnership, especially with CPA commission model. The affiliate industry prefer to use a tier instead of the names of the countries.

There are 3 defined tiers that the industry rely on. Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3. We'll get to the details a little bit later. Yet, let's start with a general explanation of how people from the affiliate industry define which tier is the best for offers, commissions, partners, collaborations etc.

Let's start with the basics. So what's actually a tier and which factors define them?
  • The state of digital marketing;
  • General economic state;
  • Differences of language and culture.
So, based on these factors the industry defines Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 GEOs. Where Tier-1 are the richest and the most-developed countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy and others. Tier-3 countries are the least developed countries like Angola, Colombia, India, Indonesia and others. And Tier-2 is lying somewhere in between, the examples are Argentina, Cyprus, Romania, Chile and others.

Tier-1 peculiarities: strong economy and well-developed digital marketing makes a lot of space for many industries and offers. People prefer to pay by card and usually have more than just one. People tend to buy online. It results that the cost of traffic is much higher but the rates from advertisers are higher as well. High rewards greatly increase the competition.

Tier-2 peculiarities: these countries are well-developed both technically and economically but the amount of online payment and purchases is much lower compared to Tier-1. The competition is lower, so the rates are as well. There are fewer industries and offers. Yet, users aren't so fed up with numerous ads so there are many opportunities to drive traffic.

Tier-3 peculiarities: the countries aren't developed well and usually have some very specific cultural traditions and preferences. These preferences should be taken into consideration while choosing the tier and offers. Banking cards and payments aren't popular, so the digital marketing's development is low as well. There is almost no competition but the audience is quite large. Your ad campaigns wouldn't require large budgets but the rates would be much lower.

Is it important?

Tiers are becoming less relevant but still any webmaster should understand the principles of economic and technical development of the countries as well as availability of some traffic sources and payment methods. The flexibility and the ability to understand and adjust to some local cultural differences is what can make you and your ads stand out among the competition. Don't expect that the same ad creatives would achieve the same results in Tier-1 and Tier-3. The adjustments should be made. Actually, that's what set apart great webmasters from average ones.

At Royal Partners we have Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 GEOs available. You're free to choose from many GEOs from CIS and EU to LATAM and Oceania. Relevant promo materials and landing pages will be provided by a personal affiliate manager.

If you're interested in a particular GEO or region you can sign up to become a partner and talk to someone from the team, find the right offer and GEO, start driving traffic and make profits from day one!

Hello everyone,

It's been quite some time since our last post. But we didn't sit still. We've been adjusting some of the topics to talk about as a couple of must-have stories appeared and soon we'll give you the full roadmap. They're totally worth waiting. Please keep watching the thread to read them first.

But today we'll be talking about cloaking and its use in the iGaming industry. Hope you'll enjoy it!

First of all, what does cloaking actually means and why should you care?

Cloaking is a method which gives search engines the impression that a website carries content that is different from what users actually see. Many people call it a black hat technique. Usually cloaking is done on purpose and the main point of it is to fool moderation bots or even a human moderation team. The techinque is used mainly in the iGaming, Crypto and Nutra industries.

Cloaking can take a variety of forms and can be used in both SEO and PPC ad campaigns but the implementation is quite different. Today we won't go into much details about choosing the right one, setting up, maintaining etc. but focus on why does it even exist and if it is the right technique for you.

How does it apply to the iGaming industry?

Promoting and driving traffic to any iGaming offer is never easy. Moderation policies are strict and it's almost impossible to run iGaming offers white hat. That's when cloaking comes in handy. You don't want to a moderator see ads of a casino or a sportsbook. That's why they are needed to be 'replaced' for a neutral one so your ads or links wouldn't be suspended.

Cloaking is considered to be against webmaster guildelines but it doesn't mean you're breaking some laws. Only penalties you can have are:
  • your ad account could be suspended. In this case, you'll need a new one and the remaining budget would be frozen;
  • your website or landing page could be banned. It could be banned entirely and indefinitely;
  • it can damage your name. Not everyone enjoys being tricked.

Please keep in mind that ad networks doesn't approve cloaking and can punish you accordingly with their privacy policy.

Overall, cloaking has become a common practice for webmasters across different industries. Due to such strict moderation even some of white hat offers require cloaking. That's why you should be at least familiar with the technique.

There are many cloaking services on the market and if you do have some question about a particular service you can always reach them via support.

Well, at first we didn't want to give you some spoilers but it's impossible to resist. Soon a major update of our website is expected. New sections will be added. And we'll add a list of tools that are used by us and our partners. The tools and services that can be trusted. You'll be able to find them in one place. Stay tuned!

A lot of exciting things are expected this year. The first huge event will take place this March! In the blink of an eye all the details would be shared with you. Don't miss them out!

We'd be happy to see you as a new partner so we can go through the changes together!

Best,
Royal Partners

Hello everyone,

Hope you’re all enjoyed Valentine’s Day and spent it with your significant other. By the way, did you like our postcard? Would be awesome to get your feedback!

Meanwhile, the time is running and it’s time for a new post. This time we’ve decided to avoid complicated long reads and instead to try shorter format with some insights. Please let us know which one do you prefer the most.

Today we’re going to talk about a way to draw a portrait of a target audience within 15 minutes. In any business everyone is looking for a big W. That’s why we’d like to recommend to have a look at the 5W Marketing Model. The model is used by marketers all over the world and proved its efficiency. Let’s break it down.

But what do 5W actually mean? These are the five questions that help to define a target audience fast and efficient.

Who: Who is the target audience?

What: What is the target audience looking for?

Why: Why should the target audience invest in this product or service?

Where: Where should the product or service be advertised?

When: When will the marketing campaigns be executed?

Once you answered all five questions, you have a better understanding of how your ad campaigns should be run.

We’ve prepared an example of the 5W for Royal Partners’ products. Have a look at it and we’ll be happy to hear your picks.

Who:
Gender profile: both Male and Female;
Age profile: from 25 to 45 years;
Country, region, city: pick the one that suits you best from the available GEOs at Royal Partners.
Interests: games, sports events.

What:
Entertainment, competition, having a good time.

Why:
Highly depends on the GEOs picked. While Tier-1 users play to have fun and get some emotions, Tier-3 users usually consider bets as a way to earn money. But both types of users can find another way to spend their free time.

Where:
Social networks and YouTube.

When:
Approximately from 6PM local time zone so the users would be absorbed by the phones on the way home so we can make sure they will spend their time making bets.

This is just a very approximate portrait but it’s a template which might be useful at some cases. Take your 15 minutes, answer the questions and you’re ready for your next ad campaign.

Please avoid scepticism. Many would probably say it’s just a waste of time but it’s not. The more research you’ve done, the better results should you expect. A detailed portrait will help you make the right ad creatives for the right audience. A better conversion means less spendings on tests. Less spendings on tests mean more profitable ad campaigns. More profitable ad campaigns mean more income. Simple math.

We’ll be happy to hear if you enjoyed such post format. Feel free to share your 5W portraits and let’s discuss them! Or you can talk directly to our affiliate managers and discuss your findings!

Best,
Royal Partners

Hey guys,

Hope you’re doing well! New week, new topic to discuss. Today we’ll cover a heated question which our partners ask their affiliate managers on a daily basis.

And the question is why my landing page has a low conversion rate? Actually there is no simple answer to the question. Every detail matters and not a single one should be taken for granted. Designing and creating a landing page is only the half way to go. But designing and creating a great one is crucial. That’s why we’d mention and break down the most common mistakes which are made by our partners. Feel free to share your thoughts with us!

Mistake Number One: Wrong CTAs

Many webmasters don’t put a lot of attention to the actual text and which emotions will it trigger. F.e., ‘Registration’ button may not be as appealing as ‘Spin’ or ’Start Playing’ and overall feels like a weaker CTA.

Our advice is to read UX books or articles to understand some basic principles and gather some references. Don’t be afraid to conduct tests to find the best performing CTAs. Try using multiple CTAs on a single landing page as not everyone would be happy to register but would accept a bonus with ease.

Mistake Number Two: Lack of Information about Bonuses and Promos

Does an affiliate program hand out welcome bonuses? Make sure you’ve mentioned them and try to make them as much personal as possible. Individual bonuses are much more appealing than bonuses available for everyone.

Find a way to visualize bonuses. You may use spinning wheels or slots, scratch cards and other elements. Try to make them with the matching colors if possible.

Mistake Number Three: Being Too Pushy

No need to lock either a registration button or bonus’ banner all over the screen. Don’t push the users, try to motivate them to learn more and stay on the page longer. The more users view your content as spam the less the conversion rate would be.

Mistake Number Four: No Quality Reviews

The reviews must be unique, clear and visible (don’t put them at the very bottom). Don’t make a carousel with dozens of reviews either. Instead, go with 5-7 quality reviews.

Mistake Number Five: Make It Too Big

It’s great to know if you have the resources to build a 12-16 screens landing page. The thing is, how many users will actually scroll the page till the footer? No need to overcrowd the landing page with information. Be precise and to the point. The users shouldn’t feel tired while scrolling through the landing page.

These are the most common mistakes the partners tend to make when designing and creating landing pages. If there are still questions left please talk to one of our affiliate managers who will make sure that your landing pages are ready for the highest conversion rates!

Hey guys,

Last week was shorthanded for us and that’s why we haven’t been so active. But this week we’ll do better and you can expect 3 posts! Today we’re planning to continue discussing landing pages and which elements can elevate them. Tomorrow March Recap will be released. On Thursday we’ll cover best practices for casino banners. Stay tuned!

Let’s get straight to business! This time we’ve added some media and would be great to hear your thoughts about it! Let us know if it’s worth to invest more time and effort in media!

We’ve already discussed the importance of landing pages and the most typical mistakes that lower a conversion rate. But which elements can boost a conversion rate?

Here are our top picks:

Add a countdown:

Provide a special bonus during a limited time. Try to create a sense of urgency for the visitors to grab a bonus.

Group 6.png

Add a spin wheel:
Casino players are gambling enthusiasts who love not only to gamble but to win. A spin wheel with bonuses, free spins, promo codes or deposit-free bonuses can be a huge turn on for the visitors.

Group 4.png

Simple sign up form:
Don’t ask for too much information. The more difficult it is to sign up the more likely a lead will fall off during the sign up. Make the registration process quick and easy. Verification can be added later for a withdrawal.

Group 2.png

Strong CTAs:
Using multiple CTAs are better than sticking to just one. Try to provide a visitor with choice. It will serve as some sort of A/B test as well.

Group 3.png

Precise localisation:
The biggest mistake you can ever make is to translate your landing page but don’t localise it in a more specific way. Use celebrities, athletes, colors and visuals which are popular in a chosen GEO.

Group 1.png

Add a bunch of bonuses:
A lot of players are choosing bonuses rather than casinos, number of slots or UI/UX. If an advertiser can provide players with deposit-free bonuses, free spins, promo codes, cashbacks etc. Include as much as you can on a landing page. Make them look catchy.

Group 5.png

These are the elements we’ve picked up as the most important. Still, to have a full picture of a particular GEO’s preferences A/B tests should be done. Use different combinations of these elements to find the best. Keep in mind that even the color of CTA buttons is crucial!

Hey guys,

Hope you enjoyed the Recap and what was done by the team in February. We’re always looking for adding new GEOs to the current pool to make sure any partner have the prefferable Tier and GEO to pick.

Let’s get back to the announced topic. Today we’re going to discuss the best practices for making casino banners to use on a website. First of all, please keep in mind that once iGaming is one of the most profitable industries, the competition is truly intense. There are thousands, if not millions, of ad creatives of all kinds on the market. There are thousands of webmasters working with the same offers.

That’s why your ads should stand out among the competition. It’s a good way to start with a great-looking catchy banners to hook the target audience and motivate them to click on the banner.

Banner with Banners.png

What elements should be placed on an iGaming banner? What are the key elements that attract the target audience? Let’s find out and have a look at a couple of banners designed by our team.

The key elements are

Brand name
. Even if the casino you’re promoting isn’t really well-known in the country, putting the brand name is a must as it’s the best way to increase trust and set apart from the other casinos and sportsbooks. Try to make a banner with the same color scheme as the advertised casino or sportsbook. Don’t confuse the leads with a completely different colors.

iGaming elements. Feel free to put images of slots, roulettes, cards, coins, dices etc. for easy assosiations. Use the most popular slots and other games at any chosen country. Do some research to find them and feel free to put them on a banner.

Strong CTA. A call-to-action is a must but a strong call-to-action is a double must. ‘Play’, ‘Get a bonus’, ‘Register’, ‘Play to win’, ‘Spin the wheel’ and many others. Don’t stick with just one, try different and find out the best CTA for your banner. Keep in mind that your CTA should stand out from the background color and other elements. It should be the main focus and all the attention should be drawn to it.

Celebrities. Does an advertiser have any ambassadors to be displayed on a banner? If the answer is yes then go ahead and put them on your banner. If the answer is no then do some research and find some local celebrities who are known to have interest in iGaming. Keep in mind that these celebrities shouldn’t be spotted in any negative events. Using ambassadors and celebrities help you build trust and credibility just as a brand name.

Bonuses. Does an advertiser provide a welcome bonus? Make sure the bonus is on your banner. It doesn’t matter if it’s free spins, a no deposit bonus or a free bet. Put the bonus on the banner. In combination with a strong CTA the conversion rate should skyrocket. Don’t forget to talk to your affiliate manager. At Royal Partners we have welcome bonuses for each of our 8 In-House products.

Banner with Banners-1.png

These are the basic banners’ elements that we are recommending our partners to concentrate on. Please keep in mind that any combination of these elements should be tested. There is no golden rule to follow and it will usually take some time to create a great banner. Don’t rush. Just test the elements step-by-step. Stay in contact with your affiliate manager and communicate during the whole process.

Hope you enjoyed the piece of information and the examples of the banners our team created. Would be great to hear what do you think of them or maybe you’re ready to share yours with us and we can have a discussion? Anyway, we’d be happy for any feedback!

If you’re looking for a direct advertiser with supportive affiliate managers and lots of promo materials then please reach out to our team and start earning!

Hey,

Hope you’re all doing well and are excited for the new topic! Last time we shared our ideas on the best practices for banners which are used on iGaming websites. Check it out if you’re owning an iGaming related website and would like to earn money from it. This time we’d like to talk about using slots and other games in your ad creatives and why you should plan it thoroughly.

We’ve already covered some basic use cases for ad creatives earlier in the thread but today we’d like to focus on using the most popular games in your ad creatives as our partners are saying that there is a huge potential in doing that. That’s why we’d like to share our thoughts and would appreciate your feedback if you agree or disagree with our points. Let’s begin.

A lot of webmasters are using slots and games in ad creatives. Are they doing it the right way? That depends.

We believe that slots and games should not be placed just to be placed and be visible but to be a motivator and a CTA. That’s why you should thoroughly consider which slots and games to use so they would boost your conversion rate.

So what should you do? Do your own research. Don’t just put a random slot or a game, think of which one might be the most catchy and why.

The main question is why a particular target audience will either like or dislike your ads. Every little detail matters. Color, placement, emotions, descriptions, bonuses should all be taken into consideration.

First of all, define the target audience. Who they are? Where are they from? How old are they? How much do they make? Why would they want to play slots or games? If there are any other specific cultural characteristics? All these factors matter and your conversion rate depends on how good are you at identifying and adjusting to them.

These factors will define the type of slots or games you need to use at ad creatives. Keep in mind that there are not only slots or card games but a bunch of instant games (some of the most popular and well-known are the variations of Plinko and Aviator). A lot of people enjoy them and invest their time and money in it. We’ll be happy to break down the instant games for you if needed. Just let us know in the DMs or reply to the thread!

VariousSlots.png

Getting back to the factors above we should say that the best way to find the most popular slots and games is to do some manual research and look through both the casinos you’re advertising and other popular casinos in the chosen country or region. F.e., let’s have a look at our brands.

PopularSlots.png

As you can see there are some games that are quite popular across different brands which look like a safe bet to use in your ad creatives. Yet there are some unique games which are popular as well. Would be great to do some A/B tests to find out if they’re that good. Try to correlate the colors of the webpage, banner or wherever you’re displaying ads to gain more trust and credibility. Keep in mind that for some of the games and slots there might be some welcome bonuses. Don’t forget to mention them as well.

Overall, this is just the tip of an iceberg and the research should be conducted way deeper but it’s still great to have a good place to begin with. As always, feel free to reach out to us if something is missing or you have an interesting topic for us to cover!

Best,
Royal Partners
