Hello.
Have any of you used the link pyramid for positioning?
Do you think this is a good positioning method?
If so, maybe you have a good scheme that gives the best results.

A link pyramid is a strategy of building tiered backlinks to boost the authority and ranking of a website. It involves creating high-quality links from reputable sources (tier 1) that point to your website, then creating lower-quality links (tier 2) that point to your tier 1 links, and so on. The idea is to create a pyramid-like structure that distributes link juice and avoids penalties from search engines.

A link pyramid can be a good positioning method if done correctly and ethically. However, it can also be risky and ineffective if done poorly or spammy. Some factors that can affect the success of a link pyramid are:
  • The quality and relevance of your content. You should always create valuable and engaging content for your website and your tier 1 links, as well as for your lower-tier links if possible.
  • The quality and diversity of your sources. You should aim for high-authority and relevant sources for your tier 1 links, such as reputable blogs, news sites, or social media platforms. You should also vary your sources and avoid using the same ones repeatedly.
  • The number and frequency of your links. You should not overdo it with too many links or too fast linking, as this can raise red flags for search engines and lower your ranking. You should also monitor your link profile and remove any broken or toxic links.
There is no one-size-fits-all scheme for building a link pyramid, as different websites may have different goals, niches, and audiences. However, some general steps you can follow are:
  • Identify your target keywords and create relevant content for them on your website.
  • Research high-authority sources that are related to your niche and reach out to them for guest posting opportunities or other forms of collaboration.
  • Create high-quality content for these sources that include a link back to your website (tier 1).
  • Find lower-quality sources that accept submissions or allow comments with links (tier 2) and create content for them that include a link back to your tier 1 sources.
  • Repeat the process with more tiers if necessary (tier 3+), but make sure each tier has fewer links than the previous one.
I hope this helps you understand what a link pyramid is and how to build one effectively.

Once upon a time, I was successful in achieving what I set out to do by using this strategy! And I was successful as a result. I regret it has been quite some time since I last used this strategy.
