Here's 4 tips for using Google plus effectively.

1. Post images relate to your content. Other Google+ Users will pay more attentions to images than normal text on your posts. More attractive images more +1 for your post on Google plus.

2. Creating a Google+ Page and named it according to your brand or organization. Google plus page is very effective to increase "Fans" and "+1" for your website. Try to connect with relevant other google+ pages.

3. Don't post too much posts on Google+, If you want to have more post on social network, try with Twitter. For Google plus, just from 1 to 2 post each day.

4. Search for "competitors" in your field and see what's going on with their page, try to connect with users(fans) from your competitors, It's will help you increase followers on Google+
