can i switch the screen of my tablet to poweroff when whatching a YT clip - ( with sound only ) lets say a essay - that needs no scree
I like to listen to videos while I shop, work, walk,etc. The problem is when I am online and I turn the screen off, the video shuts down.





Is there a setting i am missing?

No, you can’t actually power off the screen and keep watching a YouTube clip — the video needs the display. If you just want the audio, you’ll need YouTube Premium (it plays in the background) or a browser trick like Brave/Firefox. Otherwise, the best you can do is lower your brightness or use dark mode to save battery.
