Does google consider link in pdf as a backlink?

Hello,

I am very confuse about backlink in pdf. I have create on pdf contain some hyperlink and i would like to know that google will consider and crawl as a backlink or not? Please suggest here.

No... Google does not Count pdf link ! Basically Google doesn't count pdf & flash links !

No. PDF is kind of document and Google can not count a link as a back-link if you put it inside PDF. Yeah you can get a light traffic through sharing the PDF file to various document sharing sites.

In an announcement Matt told the people that Google can't go through PDF files and considered them as backlink...

All previous thread are correct and I have to agree with them. Google can't go through document files and this is the reason they are not consider as a link as back-link if it is in PDF.

Very interesting question you have asked. As web master rules Google doesn't consider the text which is scripted or in pdf format or in flash format. So if you upload it with its title that file name will be crawled and we can get in search results.
