Across industries, the average landing page conversion rate is 2.35%.

I have landing page with general traffic that get about 1/2 percent conversion. I also have landing pages with highly targeted traffic that get over a 50% conversion rate.

Depends on the market and quality of the traffic. Also depends a lot on what you are offering them in return for their email address.
