Replacing Captcha by Questions & Answers

I have some questions, hope to have some good answers

In my blog wordpress, I'd like to replace comment/register form captcha with verifying by questions and answers

but before going further I have few questions

1) What kind of questions/answers should I use?

2) Should I change the questions regularly?

3) Does questions/answers stop spammers from commenting or registering?

4) What are the benefits of using questions instead of captcha?

It related to my blog niche and habit of my audience so that they will be easy to answer.

Not necceassy but can change weekly or monthly to avoid spams

I found it effective to stop spammers

You have more questions/answers
Make new challenges with spammers

I think it's God to have questions rather than an annoying image that nobody can read . I have seen several questions in the past, mainly simple maths, 4+4 etc. Another good one is, how many letters in the name of this website.

You shouldn't need to change too often, but having more questions won't do any harm. It is a good way of protecting from spammers, yeah

I too prefer questions. Those captcha images can be very annoying.

I usually use a simple 2+3= question.

You do this by putting a lots of efforts. It doesn't allow spammers but the problem is peoples will easily forgot their answers easily and being stuck with their log ins. So better use Captcha. Till date its also a secured one from spammers.
