Connecting to your web hosting via FTP with Notepad++ or Emeditor?

I have been using Dreamweaver for years and like its way in FTP connection but since I changed to use Notepad++ and Emeditor then they are more convenient and allows me to edit files quickly but the problem is I have not seen the FTP feature built in these programs.

Do Notepad++ or Emeditor have an addon or plugin like Dreamweaver FTP did?

YOu can't just connect with Filezilla or Cyberduck?

I have not ever used Filezilla or Cyberduck, just familiar to Cute FTP.

You will be better off using CuteFTP, FileZilla, or any other ftp client rather then looking for a code editor that has it built in.

You are correct but using a code editor can help me easily edit text or formats with its functions

Filezilla FTP is much better then Dreamweaver also I realize that Filezilla is much better in many ways like file resume support, automatically overwrite file If transfer failed or resume, Fast speed and set maximum connection limit,etc.

If you don't know and need a tutorial then tell me, I will write a tutorial for you.

FileZilla can edit your files in it then upload it straight away as well. Just right click on file > Edit

I too liked the FTP function within Dreamweaver, but have been using FileZilla for some time now and have no complaints.

Another piece of software, which I use, is WinSCP.
