Which graphic software allows me to create eBook covers fast and easy ways? It looks like I just put text and choose background colors and finish any steps to make a complete ebook cover.

Personally I would just pay for someone to make one for me on Fiverr, but I did find this website a while back where you can design your own. I have used this site a few times before, but now I just outsource it to someone on Fiverr because I just don't have the to time to make one, plus I feel they come out a lot better sometimes. [URLnf="http://www.myecovermaker.com"]Here [/URLnf]is the link.

I have PhotoShop and use that for all purposes, including making eBook covers. However, if you don't have it then using PS can get expensive to buy the software. They now have PhotoShop online as what Adobe calls "Creative Cloud" and you can get access to PS there for as little as $10 per month.

Depending on how many eBooks you are going to need covers for and if you don't want to do them yourself, Fiverr has some good options for $5. Of course you can get fancier covers for more money with some sellers on there.

Also, if you do a Google search for free ebook cover maker you will find lots of free options there. Unless you are going to need a dozen or so then I wouldn't recommend buying software just for covers.

Here are a couple useful links for you.

  • [URLnofo]http://www.myecovermaker.com/ecover-design[/URLnofo]
  • [URLnofo]http://boxshot.com/free-cover-editor/[/URLnofo]
  • [URLnofo]http://boxshot.com/3d-pack/[/URLnofo]
  • [URLnofo]http://www.psdcovers.com/[/URLnofo] (need PS)
I actually have an ecover maker on one of my sites, but since I am so new here, I don't want to post it and look like I am just posting for business, you know. However, if you're still looking for an easy to use ecover creator, the links above should be enough to get you started.

I use a program called eCover Authority and have been very pleased with it, especially the templates they provide. It can be a little frustrating in the learning phase, but it's not too difficult to use.

Well, I use logocreator from LaughingBird Software to make everything these days - it was well worth the investment in time and hundreds of $5 fiverr gigs I have saved over the years.

If you plan to make a lot of ebooks and/or other graphics, then Logo Creator is an inexpensive easy to use tool.
If you want Photoshop-ish production, then go with GIMP - it's FREE! I have GIMP, but LogoCreator is faster and easier, IMHO!
