Could you please give an advice about social buttons, should I use them on my site or not?

I've been using social like buttons on my websites, Facebook and Linkedin share buttons say that they are making my sites slow down when checking on tools

Should I get rid of social like buttons? thoughts?

Hi, What is your site built with?

If it's something like WordPress and you are using a plugin for your social needs, try out others that have the features you want. I've used some that had a noticeable impact on speed and others that really made not much difference.

I would definitely recommend using some kind of social networking features for your site, sometimes they can make a nice difference in traffic so you don't want to miss out on that.

Also, are you sure they are the cause of the speed loss and not something else? Might just want to do some checking to make sure you have the right cause.

I am not sure which buttons you are using but I would recommend addthis.com.

By the way there are plenty of social share plugins available for WordPress which are responsive and fast loading for example I am using "Juiz Social share" plugin for my blog and it works great for me. No impact on my blog loading speed.
