what is difference between floated server and Dynamic IP server ?

who knows difference between floated server and Dynamic IP server?

not very familiar with a floating ip, but a dynamic ip server would mean a server with an ip that keeps changing constantly. Not sure what that could be used for or how you would ever manage it as you need a static ip to be able to login and access the server. Seems like a nightmare really, unless you only use it to host a website maybe that sounds a bit like it could work

The "Floating IP" is traditionally used by Softlayer; what it is is an IP address assigned to your private VLAN that can be used on any given server within your account without requiring changes on the network switching gear. For example, you can have 5 servers and 10 IP addresses in your account, that will function one any given server (one at a time) should you so choose. This is good if your shuffle around VPS customers and migrate them around, also really good if you plan on running a Cloud Infrastructure that has automated failover and node migration.
