We're in the process of setting up a new VPS for our clients' sites and was wanting to get any tips or info on configurations for LiteSpeed, Nginx, Apache or anything else to help performance out. We'll be running 4 - 6 live blog sites (none have much traffic) but we'll also have numerous plugins serving on those sites. Anything that could help us gain the most from the server would be appreciated. :)

You should look at easyengine.io or serverpilot.io if you want to have a good vps setup, without having to configure everything.

EasyEngine is a command line tools, to setup Nginx - php - Mariadb and a caching solution with/without wordpress

Code:
wget -qO ee rt.cx/ee && sudo bash ee # install easyengine
sudo ee site create example.com --wp # install wordpress on example.com

Serverpilot is a remote control panel, it does the same job than easyengine, but you can mange your vps from their website.

It's all command line.

easyengine.io/docs/commands

This is the first time I've ever heard about EasyEngine but from your guide i would give it a go.
One more question, does it have an user interface (UI) to control and manage elements as Nginx, php, Mariadb..etc?
