Google AMP monetization and SEO?

I was checking an option to monetize the AMP aka accelerated mobile pages. They tell you how to setup the AMP for your website. And you can even get it up and running in short time if you have WordPress. However it takes a lot of effort for this to pull out properly in term of monetization. I have found that some people are working on AMP and using different Ad networks other than adsense for monetization. I want to know if this strategy affects SEO or not. What do you think how it affects the SEO?
