It's basically a directory of twitter users by interests. Just getting listed in Twiends id not going to get you followers. You are still going to need to be posting stuff on twitter that people actually want to follow.

Of course you are still going to get the people that follow you just in hopes you follow them back. Later they unfollow you and start spamming their newly built twitter account.

Only follow people you truly are interested in following.
