I really would not worry about bounce rate. But if you insist. Just create sites that visitors want to explore and go deeper into the site. Really good content that also points to more really good content that the visitor is looking for works very well.

I agree with this sentiment. Even if you redesign the site, your bounce rate would still be the same, and no amount of change would reduce it.

The best way to reduce bounce rate is, you need to focus on your content, make them quality and useful for readers, if they see them useful, they will stay on your site/page longer and that will make your bounce rate better.

Just like Bob Whisonant said, you should not worry yourself with bounce rate. If your site content is good and you link to other pages on your site that complement each other, your audience will surely click on those interlinks.
Remember, those interlinked contents should be of value to your audience.

Content and the use of words are important. Try to increase readability of your website and use more compelling CTAs.

Bounce rates decreases if you have really engaging content.
Also, use the "related articles" plugin, so that people don't leave the site right away but may continue reading your site.

Bounce rate is defined as the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave by only visiting a single page of that site, and doesnt care to visit rest of the pages. It is considered as a negative point for online business and several reasons can be responsible for this to happen. However, one can follow these simple steps to reduce the percentage of bounce rate in their site -

1) Make your website faster in terms of loading

2) Format your content in a more cleaver manner

3) Integrate smart and concise CTA

4) Check your product page closely

5) Make your site easy to reach

6) Make the site responsive

7) Improve the navigation of your site

The thing is everybody and their dog nowadays is saying that bounce-rate is a major ranking factor.

The problem is they don't understand there is a difference between bounces in 5s and bounces after a few minutes.

Basically - i ASSUME! - mr. g. is trying to diminish clickbait.

I don't know why you agree with that answer. It's wrong. Having engaging content doesn't matter. If people find what they were looking for, they still might bounce.
At least they will stay longer if they found useful information for them.
Also, long content will make them consume time to find information that they are looking for, its also good for SEO.

People need to stop worrying about bounce rate and take a moment to think about what it is and if it actually matters. Not all bounces are bad.
Sure and agree with you on this point but at least it is telling you if you have good content on your site or not.

You can apply internal links of your related pages, use multimedia and videos in your content to reduce the bounce rate. High bounce rate is not always a bad thing. It means the users land on your page but not visiting other pages present on your website. If you apply internal links of the related content of your website then its chances of reducing the bounce rate.

I suggest you focus on these points :

1 - page load time
2 - better design and color harmony
3 - increasing readibility
4 - short paragraphs
5 - using rich contents
6 - using related keywords with searched keywords by Google
7 - less ads
8 - call-to-action buttons and bands

etc. hope it works

Hello,

You're able to apply internal links of one's pages that are related, utilize videos and multimedia from your articles to decrease the bounce speed. Bounce speed that is high isn't always a terrible thing. This means that the users property although perhaps maybe not seeing with pages present. If you employ links of your website's articles its own odds of reducing the bounce speed.

Have a good night.
