outbound links are the links that go to a different domain. .ie from xyz domain to abc domain.

All the bloggers use outbound links in their articles to provide value to the readers.

We should always use authorized websites like wiki, WHO or any other authorized website which has validated data or content.

Outbound links are helpful in SEO and should be do-follow link.

It has been found out that when you issue outbound links on your website, your webpage gets the DA of the website linked to, leverage to enjoy.

According to John Muller of Google:

We saw that, I don't know, way in the beginning, when people would put links to Google, or Wikipedia, or CNN on their website, and assume that search engines would be naive and think, oh, they're linking to these well-known websites, therefore, the content itself must be good.

And that's definitely not the case.

So you can add value to your website by having links on those pages, but it's not the case that just because you have links then we'll suddenly see your website as being higher quality.
