Too many Outbound Links are Bad for SEO?

Hi everyone,

I heard some my friends said that "Too many outbound links are Bad for SEO?" and I should put 20 outbound links in average for a page. if I put more it will be bad for SEO and reducing ranking on search engines.
so what do you think about that ?

Plz share some thoughts ?

Too many Outbound links that are NOT NATURAL (in the eyes of google) are BAD for SEO

Outbound Links passes PR to other websites, also too much outbound links is not good SEO perspective.

You can use rel="nofollow" in your anchor tag to stop the link juice. However, it is suggested not to overuse out-bound links.

Yes to many outbound links will harm your website but still it's depend on your page that how much content the page has and what kind of sites you are linked. As Pramod said using nofollow would be great for not sharing link juice of the page.

Definitely, they are bad for health of your website. Outbound links passes page-rank to another website which you have linked to it. If you have huge number of outbound links on your website the it may come under scam of paid links and you know very well that how Google treat with them.

Try to increase ranking of your business keywords. You can do some research for business keywords which will give you maximum conversion. As far as I concern with SEO, only traffic does not matter, you have to increase quality traffic.
