last time I know an apps to do that but now I didn't remember its name

I know a website but not an app. The website is called afreesms. Just google it. I think it's .com = afreesms.com I think. I'm sorry I don't have an iPhone. I just want to help.

Well, there might be a misleading question. Yes, from the concept Apple uses the data network (if you are connected to WiFI or to the data network of your provider to send the SMS over the Internet to another recipient instead of using a proper formatted SMS. This is called iMessage. The phone detects this automatic and you don't need to do anything. So if you send a message from your message App in an iPhone, the phone itself decides to send it either as iMessage (message is blue) or as SMS (message is green). iMessages are free while SMS cost you based on your contract with your provider.
