As I read then updating Linux distro to the latest stable version will make your system run on the most secure and stable version of the operating system. Updates often include security patches and bug fixes that address vulnerabilities and performance issues, protecting your system from potential threats and improving its overall performance. In addition, updating to the latest version can provide new features, improved functionality, and better compatibility with the latest software and hardware. So, how can I update my Linux distro to the latest stable version? and how to update without affecting to other software running on the system?

If you're running Ubuntu, you can run "sudo apt update" to refresh your package lists, and then "sudo apt upgrade" to install any available updates. Make sure to carefully review the updates before installing to avoid any potential conflicts with other software on your system.
