I am running PPC ads on Google and Facebook for affiliate offers. My main problem is that my CPC is getting higher every week, but conversions are very low. I have tested different creatives, audiences, and landing pages, but results are still not stable.

Sometimes I get clicks but no sales. I am not sure if the problem is targeting, tracking setup, or landing page quality.

Has anyone faced the same issue? What steps did you take to fix high CPC and low conversion rate?

Any genuine advice would really help. Thanks in advance.

It’s honestly exhausting when you’re doing everything "by the book" with creatives and audiences but the numbers just keep moving in the wrong direction. High costs and low sales usually point to a lack of "congruence" between your ad and your landing page, which triggers the platforms to raise your prices. By focusing on lightning-fast load speeds, clear messaging, and verifying that your tracking data is clean, you give the algorithm the right signals to find cheaper, higher-quality traffic.

High CPC = Google thinks your ads suck. Quality Score controls pricing.
Affiliate tracking is a mess. Pixels break when conversions happen on someone else's site. Google's algorithm can't learn without clean conversion data, so it burns your budget.
I dealt with this exact thing, CPC climbing, conversions tanking. MB Adv did an audit and found our tracking was completely broken because of iOS privacy stuff. Fixed it, everything stabilized.
