How to restart my VPS from SSH or WHM?

Hello, I'm in process to learn control my VPS (cPanel/WHM). I'd like to know ways how to restart my VPS from SSH or WHM safely?

I have just asked my VPS provider support, he suggest

With SSH
Using the command "reboot" you can restart the VPS

With WHM
Login to WHM >> Home >> System Reboot >> Graceful Server Reboot

why having 2 different commaned between you and me

Hello,

There are numerous methods in which you could reboot your server, the most recommended being via your WHM control panel utilising the Graceful Server Reboot feature. The following SSH commands can also be used, and both function the same:

reboot & shutdown -r now

Be careful with the shutdown command though, without that fancy little "-r" the server will completely shut down and you'll need to run a power cycle.

These are same you can either restart from WHM or via ssh.

Yes, the 'reboot' shortcut calls the same shutdown command

Mayby someone here can give me new methods that I or my hosting providers didn't know
It's good if I have more ways to do that and find out which is the best method for me.

or only
