I have some websites to care so I'm thinking about hiring an SEO consultant, is it necessary ?

If you are inexperienced I would hire a consultant in the beginning to start to get an understanding of how SEO works within real world applications and frameworks. Your budget does have to be very big and you can learn a lot of you get connected with the right person or company. What subjects/businesses are your websites about?
