Hi Crespy,

Nice post... You should consider entering the Blog Articles Contest - Award $50 to The Winner! ...

That aside my thoughts:

1) Make efforts to identify your target audience... and where they hang out online... such as forums, social media platform groups, leading authority blogs etc... Look at the type of questions which get asked a lot, the most popular subjects etc... This will help you create a list of articles for your campaigns....

2) Also check G's keyword planner tool for keywords and its number of searches per month... This can also give ideas for your articles... which you should add to the list as per (1).

3) Next figure out your schedule e.g. post articles once, twice a week... Be consistent with implementing!

4) After each article you could use them to create a video to attract people to your blog. Add video to Youtube and other video sharing sites....

5) Use the audio from video and add to audio sharing sites.

6) Create PDF from article and add to PDF sharing sites.

7) Create PowerPoint and add to powerpoint/presentation sharing sites.

8) Promote your new articles with announcing on social media e.g. FB, Twitter...

9) Promote your new articles on other Web 2.0 / Social related sites - PinIt, Instagram etc... You could develop image or purchase a stock image for promoting on image sharing sites...

10) Target where your audience hang out... If its forums - add an excerpt of your article and use your signature as a link to your blog.... Most forums do not allow self promotion but sig link is okay....

11) Consider Guest article on related sites... Email the web owner/admin - tell them you have written a great article and wish to post it as a guest article...

12) ... and of course ask people who visit your site to sign up to your newsletter... Offer a bonus in return!

I think of any more I'll make sure to add it....

Cheers,

Sid

To add to this awesome information, it must be remembered that Content Marketing depends on the type of NICHE that you are in.

In some niches, you don't even have to write any blog, or create any content. Do you see any plumber creating cute infographics or producing picture portfolios.

Heck, no! It only applies when your audience looks forward to you to share valuable content in the first place.
