From my own experience, I have used hostgator but I prefer bluehost anyday.

I really love bluehost's support and they have good limits - without shutting your site down incase of high CPU.

Godaddy has a bad reputation when it comes to web hosting services. You would be better going with Host Gator.

Why do you choose between only these companies?
I'd recommend you to look at hosting services from a2hosting and bluehost.
Decent companies enough to have a deal with.

To recommend exactly one of them is very difficult because both of them are really very good but now a days hostgator may have some problem.

I have never used hostgator, but I have Godaddy and I can say that Ipage is always when compared with price and support. Ipage is having the best price and support for everyone.

I choose Hostgator over GoDaddy. I have used both and have some nasty encounters with GoDaddy. but until now nothing as such with Hostgator. So according to me GoDaddy is better than Hostgator.

I buy domain name for my website at GoDaddy.com and I use ASPHostPortal.com for hosting my website. Anytime you contact them, you'll experience great response time and very helpful information, they will fix any problem.

Hostgetor will cost you lower than Godaddy. So I would prefer you to go with Hostgetor.com

Some of the plans of Godaddy.com is very impressive but that depends upon your usage and work. So, as per my point of view you should go with Hostgetor.com

Look at hosting from a2hosting or ifastnet.
These companies have many useful resources and their uptime is high.
Support is active and responsive.
Prices are low and tech staff is skillful and quality.

Yes I agree with @Ehostingpk .. GoDaddy's cPanel is much better than HostGetor and it has many great useful features.

Neither one of them. But if you really have to choose between them I'll go with hostgator.

GoDaddy looks to be more stable here. In terms of Uptime and tech support but Hostgator is more affordable. It's a tough choice though.
