What is the next revolution online?

Hi,
As all of us knew and seeing that Youtube, Whatsup, Facebook, Skype, Google..are big revolution in recent years
According to you, what are the next revolutions online?

I really can't even guess. Vines have become such a big thing lately, and I imagine it's only a matter of time before the internet is overrun with vine websites.

I reckon the next big thing relates to taking computers and gadgets to being literally a part of us...!!!

We basically have our mobiles with us 24/7... On the horizon is Google Glass and other similar devices, iwatches and so forth.. We'll be wearing microprocessors, you'll find them in your shoes, on your jacket, on your hat, gloves etc.. I've seen many such prototypes with many different functions in the media from medical, safety, geo spatial etc.. So the development of such apps will be a big area for sure...

In fact the technology is out there that we can even implant chips into the body and can think of commands which are transmitted like turning a light switch on/off etc... and of course all plugged into the super information highway...

So I would say take your pick ;-) Tons to choose from....

Either that or VR and holograms. As a kid, I remember watching Star Wars and hoping the future may turn out like that. Hell, I think everyone hoped for more futuristic future. I think it will happen eventually, but it'll take a long time.

The one thing that is certain is that mobile internet is going to take over. A couple of years from now desktop computers will only be in offices.

Phones after years of getting smaller are getting huge again. I saw somebody with what looked like an ipad to his ear. 7 inch screens. I bet somebody comes up with a new man bag just to carry the thing.
