In over my head

Hello everyone. My name is Frank. I'm the owner of Southern Boy Teas. We manufacture specialty organic flavored iced teas. I love crafting new iced tea flavors but I am beginning to feel completely under-equipped to deal with the work of promoting them. I hope that someone here can help me figure out what I am doing wrong because right now I am REALLY discouraged.

Yesterday, I created a new landing page with an awesome offer to try our iced teas for FREE and just pay $2.99 in shipping. I boosted the post from our Facebook page and got tons of interaction from it, but NOT ONE SALE. I don't understand what I am doing wrong and I just want to cry. I would be grateful for any insights anyone can offer me. Is there something wrong with our offer? Our landing page? Please help me.

Sorry for the link fail. I'm not sure why a forum devoted to Internet marketing would require five posts before allowing a link. That seems awfully counter-productive.

Do not get discouraged. We have all had our up and downs in marketing on the Internet. If it was easy everyone would be doing it. It takes time and persistence to get started and with every positive there will be a few negatives.

I will look at your site and see if I can give you any pointers.

You have come to the right place, these people are very knowledgeable and willing to share.

And to your point on the 5 posts. That is a very low post count to add links to your site. The reason for the minimum post count is that many people will come to a forum just to promote their site and contribute nothing. They will basically spam forums to add links back to their site and that will be their only visit. Most good forums now have a minimum post to avoid that type of spamming. This forum post count is low compared to many. I am a member of some development forums that require 50 posts before you can add a link to your post or a signature to your posts. It helps control content and avoid spam.

Running a forum is a difficult job that requires a lot of time. Posts counts is one way that forum administrators use to try and control the maintenance of the forum. I hope this clears up your question.
