Nice question, I think Google will act different from online plagairism checker tools. If you can pass 70% duplicated content then you can be good with Google then :)

Keep in mind that plagiarism tools are only as good as the database they create. AKA how many pages they actually have in their database.

Hi guys,
Does Google calculate plagairism as same way as these online available plagairism checker tools?
Google doesn't check for plagiarism. The only time they will take action against something that is plagiarized is if it is reported to them.

If they come across two pieces of identical content, they have no way of knowing who the original owner is. That is a legal matter to be decided by the owner.

In short, Google doesn't care.

Plagiarism sounds like something only a human can decide, not a robot. What if it was a long quote or something for which the author was given credit. Or, was something re-written in your own words well enough? Again, sounds like a human should decide that.
