Hyperlinks on web pages are traditionally blue and underlined. A clicked link is then purple.

Nowadays hardly come this format. On many websites is chosen for a matching color left and is incredibly played with all kinds of variations.

This is confusing for a visitor. A hyperlink must be recognizable as such, otherwise you run a percentage clickers wrong.

Underline

Therefore always keep the same link on the entire website style. By underlining the text or to give a different color, make sure it is clear that it is a link.

You can also use the mouse-over the effect that a link gets when you go over it with the cursor. This makes it even clearer for the visitor that it is a link.

Anchor Texts

An anchor is old Internet term. It is the piece of text that is linked. This used to "click here". Happy you see that less and less. By linking the right words visitors know which page they will come true by clicking. This will improve the user experience.

Any other thoughts ?
