How to block android WEB-VIEW users from accessing my website?

The reason behind blocking this feature: A recent BOTS attack from the UK targets AdSense ad units on my website. A hacker uses android web-view to scrape my website pages and then send bots to click the ads.

It seems that he has used an old version of my website because archived ad units (not active ads) are also getting clicked.

You may think why would I believe that those bots clicks are generated from an android web-view PLATFORMS? The AdSense report shows that those clicks are generated from android platforms. Also, the highest CTR is generated by android users.

You can use htaccess to block the user agent string the app is using.

"A bots attack that sends bots to click the ads" - never heard of that before. It seems that this might be an issue that the AdSense team could help you with. They run AdSense and they want less so-called "bot attacks" as I understand. Good luck.
