I've been wondering if it's possible to build visitor trust with just a design with very neutral text, with no calls to action. Just the design. What do you think?

A well-designed website can definitely play a role in building visitor trust, but relying solely on design and neutral text may not be enough to fully establish trust with visitors. A clean and professional design can create a positive first impression and convey a sense of reliability and credibility, but without a clear message or calls to action, visitors may have a hard time understanding the purpose of your website and may not be encouraged to take any specific action.

To build trust with visitors, it's important to not only have a well-designed website but also to have clear, concise, and engaging content that communicates your value proposition and establishes your credibility. Adding customer testimonials, social proof, and calls to action can also help to build trust and encourage visitors to take the next step.

In short, while design plays an important role in building visitor trust, it should be combined with clear messaging, engaging content, and calls to action to create a complete and effective user experience.

Both design and content are important in building visitor trust and creating an effective user experience. While a well-designed website can make a positive first impression, clear and engaging content is necessary to communicate your value proposition and establish credibility. Ideally, both design and content should work together in harmony to achieve the best results.

Well dunno, if you're talking about using certain colors and their combinations, soft design and stuff like that, then they can make visitors feel at ease.

For me, design is not particularly important. If the page does not have the information I need, then the site / page is of no use at all.

Well, while a well-designed website is important for establishing credibility, it's only one component of building trust with visitors. Other factors such as transparency, authenticity, clear value proposition, and positive user experience also play a significant role.
