Hi,

I'm facing an issue where some of my pages are not getting indexed even after using the URL inspection tool in GSC.
content is unique , site is clean, but still no luck.
is this normal these days or am I missing something?

looking for your suggestions? hope I will get help.

Check if those pages are getting any internal links from your high-authority pages. Google won't prioritize a new URL if it's sitting on an island. It’s pretty normal for the manual request to take a back seat if the site structure is a bit flat.

GSC request does not guarantee indexing , google still decides based on quality.

Common issue—GSC requests don’t guarantee indexing. Often due to low-quality or duplicate content, weak internal links, crawl budget limits, or technical blocks. Improve content and linking.

Yep, seeing the same issue here.
Submitting in Google Search Console doesn’t always mean instant indexing — sometimes Google just delays or skips pages.
In many cases, it’s because the page isn’t strong enough yet (content, links, or overall value).
Try boosting it a bit and be patient — indexing can be slower than expected these days.

We suggest checking your internal links first. If your new pages are tucked away too deep in the site structure, Google might not see them as a priority. Try linking to these new posts from your strongest, already-indexed articles to give them a little push. Also, take a quick look at the "Live Test" in GSC to make sure there aren't any weird rendering issues where the bot sees a blank page instead of your text. It’s usually just a waiting game combined with proving to Google that your page adds something truly extra to the conversation. Hang in there, it usually clears up once the site gains a bit more momentum.

Hi,

Yes, this has become quite common recently, especially with how Google is prioritizing crawl budget and content quality signals. Even if your content is unique, indexing is no longer guaranteed just by submitting URLs in GSC.

A few things you might want to check:

  • Crawl budget & site structure: If your site has many pages, Google may not crawl everything frequently. Make sure important pages are well-linked internally (not orphan pages).
  • Content value vs. uniqueness: Unique content is good, but Google now focuses more on usefulness and intent satisfaction. Ask yourself if the page adds real value compared to competitors.
  • Internal linking: Pages with strong internal links (from homepage or high-authority pages) get indexed faster.
  • Page quality signals: Thin content, duplicate intent pages, or low engagement can delay indexing.
  • Technical checks: Ensure no accidental noindex tags, canonical issues, or crawl blocks in robots.txt.
  • Backlinks: Even 1–2 quality backlinks can help Google discover and index pages faster.

Also, the URL inspection tool only requests indexing, it doesn’t guarantee it. Sometimes it can take days or even weeks depending on site authority and crawl priority.

From my experience, improving internal linking and slightly updating the content (adding more depth, FAQs, or fresh data) often helps trigger indexing.

Hope this helps 👍

Hi. Did you manage to index your pages in the end ? I'm having the same issue with one of my business pages. I went on Google search central community a few weeks ago and asked for help. A platinum level product expert told me (9 April 2026) to look for backlinks and target that particular page. I got some backlinking opportunities one week ago and I'm waiting for googlebot to index them now.

I'm monitoring with ahrefs webmaster tools + Search console. As soon as I see the backlinks starting to flow in, I'll send another indexation request. I'll edit this comment when I'll have some news.
