We are all familiar with the caption "smoking is injurious to health" but we have very little, better to say "negligible followers" who have complicatedly tried to quit smoking. So I just want to check the real truth by asking to you -

"Do you smoke and have you ever tried to quit smoking?"

I do smoke in truth, and I've tried quitting once or twice. There are times when you quit and don't want to get back to it, but then it's this compulsion that takes over: I either have to start smoking again or substitute it with something else. So, I ended up with being a smoker again: this way, I have my peace of mind. The fact I'm causing harm to myself is indisputable though.

I have been a smoker for the past over 20 years. Out of curiosity, I smoked my first cigarette when I was 10 yrs old, and smoked off and on. It became way more regular once I reached 13 years old. I have tried quitting only a handful of times, with out success. In order to quit, the person has to have the "Want", and I lack the "Want". I'm nowhere near ready to quit yet.

Actually, no. But I believe that's stems from not being ready. If guilt was to start knocking on my door, it may be an indicator of the first stages of wanting to quit. Where I fail to have that, it proves I'm not ready.
