Good tips for writing better content?

I need some help creating better content, such as generating ideas, formatting and other content creation matters.

What are your best tips?

I generally produce content that offers solutions to a problem that someone is facing. If I can't solve the person's problem, then at least I will offer them advice about it that I think is helpful for them.

So often times, I will think of questions that are probably bouncing around inside the heads of people in my audience. They I use those questions as the titles for a page. Then I just create content that answers those questions. I think that is the absolute easiest way to create great content that people actually want to find. Make your answers to those questions as helpful and as detailed as you can within reason. Always include images of some kind so it doesn't look like it is going to be boring to read. And don't be afraid to link out from your content to other useful content.
