How many types of Link Building in SEO?

I want to know how many types of Link Building in SEO and which one is working best for keyword ranking? I heard of link wheel and link pyramid but not sure they will work for my blog sites. What are your thoughts?

there are total three type of link building , these are a main type.
1. Natural Editorial Link building
2. Manual Resource Link building
3. non- editorial Link building

these all are best for keyword ranking. bu some of sub type of these are very beneficial for us for example guest posting, web2.0 posting etc.
