Earn money using bing.com?

Hi guys, I just recently read an article that you can actually earn money up to 1k$ just by using bing instead of google. The article you just have to use it then check the bingrewards. I tried it but the rewards is still not available in my region, I just want to if it is legit or not?

Bing rewards let's you earn about 250 maximum points per day on the average. It takes a little over 10,000 points to get a $5 gift card. So you can earn about $5 every 40 days with Bing rewards.
