Hey guys,

I’m just starting to learn a bit about graphic design and honestly, it’s a bit overwhelming. There are so many tools out there Photoshop, Canva, Figma, Illustrator, etc.

For someone who’s a total beginner (zero experience), which one would you recommend to start with?

Hey! Totally get how overwhelming it feels at first, we’ve all been there.

If you’re starting from zero experience, I’d recommend starting with Canva. It’s super beginner-friendly, drag-and-drop easy, and still powerful enough for solid design work (especially for social media, flyers, presentations, etc.).

Once you're comfortable and want to go deeper into more professional stuff, then explore Photoshop (for photo editing) or Figma (great for UI/UX and web design).

Start simple, build confidence, then level up. You’ve got this!

Canva and Adobe Express are excellent for general design, while Vectr is great for vector work. If you have a budget and want to learn industry-standard tools, consider the Adobe suite, but a strong alternative is the affordable Affinity Designer.
